Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

U.S. Shipping

We offer complimentary U.S. shipping on orders of $150 or more. Orders below $150 will have shipping calculated at checkout.

Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to carrier delays, weather conditions, holidays, or other circumstances outside of Nova Rio's control.

International Shipping

Nova Rio currently ships to select international destinations, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

International shipping rates are calculated at checkout. Customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, customs fees, VAT, GST, import fees, and any other charges imposed by their country.

These charges are determined by local customs authorities and are not collected or controlled by Nova Rio. International shipping charges are non-refundable. At this time, Nova Rio does not ship to Brazil.

Track My Order

Once your order has shipped, you will automatically receive an email containing your tracking number and shipment details.

If you do not receive tracking information within 3 business days after placing your order, please contact care@nova-rio.com.

Address Changes & Order Cancellations

If you need to update your shipping address or cancel your order, please contact us immediately at care@nova-rio.com.

We will do our best to accommodate your request. However, once an order has entered fulfillment or has been shipped, changes and cancellations cannot be guaranteed.

U.S. Exchanges

We proudly offer complimentary exchanges within 14 days of delivery for U.S. orders. One complimentary exchange is permitted per order.

  • Item must be unworn
  • Item must be unwashed
  • Original tags must be attached
  • Item must be returned in original packaging
  • Item must be free of stains, odors, makeup marks, pet hair, or damage

Exchange process: contact care@nova-rio.com, receive a prepaid exchange label, return the item, and once approved, your replacement item will be shipped at no additional cost.

International Exchanges

At this time, Nova Rio does not offer international exchanges. If you require a different size or color, please return the item for a refund and place a new order.

U.S. Returns & Refunds

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on refund requests. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the return has been received, inspected, and approved. Please allow 5-10 business days for your financial institution to process the refund.

International Returns

International returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. International shipping charges are non-refundable.

Duties, taxes, customs fees, VAT, GST, and any import-related charges are non-refundable.

Return Conditions

All returned merchandise must be in original condition. Nova Rio reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet these requirements.

Final Sale Items

Gift cards, promotional giveaway items, final sale merchandise, and any item marked Final Sale are not eligible for return or exchange.

Shipping Protection & Claims

Missing or Delayed Packages

If your package is marked as delivered but cannot be located, please first verify the shipping address provided at checkout, check with household members or neighbors, and check around all possible delivery locations on your property.

If your package still cannot be located, please contact us within 7 days of the marked delivery date at care@nova-rio.com. Nova Rio will assist in opening a carrier investigation when applicable.

Delayed Shipments

While most orders arrive within the estimated delivery timeframe, delays may occasionally occur due to weather, carrier disruptions, customs processing, holidays, or high shipping volumes.

If your package has not moved for more than 7 business days, please contact our team for assistance at care@nova-rio.com.

Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Please provide your order number, clear photos of the damaged item, and clear photos of the shipping packaging.

Our team will review your claim and provide a replacement, store credit, or refund when appropriate.

Lost Packages

Once a package has been marked as delivered by the shipping carrier, Nova Rio is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. However, we will do our best to assist customers with carrier investigations and claims whenever possible.

Caring for Your Nova Rio Pieces

Nova Rio garments are crafted using premium Brazilian performance fabrics designed for movement, comfort, support, durability, and long-lasting color. To keep your pieces looking their best, please follow these care instructions.

Washing Instructions
  • Machine wash cold
  • Wash with similar colors
  • Turn garments inside out before washing
  • Use mild detergent only
  • Do not bleach
  • Avoid harsh chemicals
Drying Instructions
  • Air dry whenever possible
  • Lay flat or hang dry
  • Do not tumble dry on high heat
  • Avoid excessive heat, which may reduce fabric performance and elasticity over time
Fabric Care
  • Avoid rough surfaces that may cause pilling
  • Avoid contact with Velcro or abrasive materials
  • Rinse promptly after swimming or excessive perspiration
Printed Fabrics
  • Wash inside out
  • Do not iron directly on printed areas
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when drying

Store your garments folded or hanging in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing damp garments or exposing them to prolonged moisture.
